A Visionary Legacy
The late Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin is fondly remembered as a visionary who transformed his passion for cars into the Naza Group — one of Malaysia's largest family-owned conglomerate. In 1975, At the age of 21, he began importing used Japanese cars by utilising his savings earned from helping his father’s construction business. He was successful in selling off his entire stock within three months and later established a used luxury vehicle dealership in Kuala Lumpur. His journey from humble beginnings to remarkable success continues to inspire us.

During the programme, Yayasan has collaborated with Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP) to open their mobile counter at Platinum Park, besides inviting 55 children from Rumah Bakti Nur Syaheera Kuala Lumpur and Maahad Tahfiz Darul Quran JAKIM, Kuala Kubu Bharu.
Maulana Al-Sheikh Afeefuddin Al Jailani led the Tahlil and Yassin recitation, followed by doa recitation for the well-being of NAZA`s shareholders, staff, family members, and for the continued success of the NAZA Group of Companies.

In support for the Next Generation Vehicle (NxGV) Challenge and Formula Student Malaysia (FSM), Yayasan has sponsored RM15,000 to Universiti Malaya Engineering student.
The sponsorship provided to support the team`s research and development, particularly for the accumulator component of their electric vehicle, contributing to hands-onstudent learning in sustainable technology.
The team competed in the FSM at Litar Dato’ Sagor, Perak on 23rd April 2026 and successfully achieved first place in the Dynamic Event and second place in the Static Event, demonstrating the positive impact of the support provided.
