In honouring the spirit of Ramadan, on 6th April 2023, Yayasan Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin continued to spread joy to nearly 100 less fortunate families in the surroundings of Masjid Jami’il Huda, Ampang, Selangor. Volunteers from the Naza Group of Companies joined in to assist in purchasing and distributing grocery items, including rice, cooking oil, sugar, cordial, and other basic necessities worth RM20,000. In addition to basic food provisions, each family also received a voucher of RM50 and duit raya of RM100 each. The community of Masjid Jami’il Huda also received a cheque of RM3,000 to support their activities and programmes throughout Ramadan.

The programme continued with breaking of fast together with 53 orphans from Persatuan Kebajikan Anak-anak Yatim Damai Kuang, Selangor, and 35 orphans from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ulul Azmi, Rawang, Selangor. Additionally, 12 students from Pusat Tahfiz Darus Syabab, Selangor, were invited for qasidah recitation, doa, and azan. The orphans’ homes and Pusat Tahfiz each received RM5,000, and the orphans and children received duit raya of RM200 each.

Held at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) on 12th April 2023, the iftar was attended by Puan Sri Datin Seri Utama Zaleha Ismail, En. SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin, En SM Faliq SM Nasimuddin, Puan Nur Diana SM Nasimuddin, and Puan Nur Nadia SM Nasimuddin together with their families.
