Ducati Malaysia launches second largest Ducati showroom in Southeast Asia
Petaling Jaya, 6 February 2020 – The second largest Ducati showroom in Southeast Asia today opens its doors to Ducatistis with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Next Bike Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Ducati in Malaysia.
Housing one of the largest service areas for Ducati in Asia, the Ducati PJ Showroom has an impressive build-up of 16,339 square feet, while its service area spans 5,009 square feet and is equipped with eight working bays, servicing up to 450 bikes per month.
With an investment of RM1.5 million, visitors are also promised a holistic premium purchase experience as the new showroom incorporates the latest Ducati signature brand Corporate Identity (CI) with several experiential sections including separate areas for Ducati Apparel Tech and Ducati Accessories, as well as a dedicated Scrambler Camp, complete with its own Apparel Tech and Accessories areas. Patrons can choose from a wide range of ride protection gear such as helmets, jackets, boots and other official Ducati and Scrambler merchandises.
“The Ducati brand was made for those with a passion for speed, self-expression and love living life on the edge. As every Ducati model is designed to exude its own aura and character, we want Ducatistis to be able to have a 360˚ holistic Ducati experience,” said Dato’ Nik Hamdam Nik Hassan, Deputy Group CEO, Automotive Group, Naza Corporation Holdings.
“Incorporated with the Ducati signature brand CI, we believe that the new Ducati PJ showroom will enhance the customers’ experience to interact with the latest products and technology, and at the same time elevate the Ducati brand image,” he added.
Placing high importance on its customers, the state-of-the-art facility has a dedicated service reception as well as a larger and more comfortable social area for patrons while waiting for the skilled technicians to work on their bikes.
The new Ducati PJ Showroom also showcases Ducati’s finest models including the Ducati Panigale V4 S, 916 Anniversario, Monster 821 and fan-favourites Hypermotard 950 and Diavel 1260 S, as well as popular Scrambler models Scrambler Café Racer and Icon.
Speaking about Next Bike’s future plans, Dato’ Nik mentioned “Apart from the opening of the new Ducati PJ flagship showroom at a prominent location, there are expansion plans in the pipeline to elevate the Ducati brand nationwide. This also includes a new dealership in the Southern region by the second half of the year.”
MotoGP riders Andrea Dovizioso and Danilo Petrucci were also present at the event to join in the festivities after the 2020 MotoGP World Championship preliminary test, in preparation for the 2020 MotoGP World Championship season which will begin 8th March 2020 in Qatar.
Relocated to the entrance of Naza Automall, the iconic red and white colours of the Ducati PJ Showroom is highly visible from the Federal Highway and is now open to visitors.
