PINTAR SCHOOL ADOPTION PROGRAMME: PREPARING STUDENTS FOR SUCCESS

Yayasan has collaborated with PINTAR Foundation to implement the PINTAR School Adoption Programme. This programme focuses on improving access to education for underserved children in rural and marginalised communities across Malaysia. As part of this collaboration, the 1 Kid 1 Kit programme and the Spelling Bee Competition 2025 were organised for SK Satak, Yayasan’s adopted school.

The 1 Kid 1 Kit programme held on 26th February 2025 at SMK Tengku Kudin provided 50 students with essential school supplies to help the students prepare for their first day of school. Each student received a complete set of school necessities, including a school bag, stationery, school shoes, and a full set of school uniform.

Meanwhile, the Spelling Bee Competition 2025 was held on 26th November 2025 at SK Satak, at Kampung Satak, Kela, Raub, Pahang. This programme aimed to enhance students’ English language proficiency while building their confidence and interest in learning. The competition provided 90 students from Standard 1 to Form 3 and was conducted across three levels of difficulty: Honey Bee (Beginner), Stingless Bee (Intermediate), and Bumble Bee (Advance).

Overall, the collaboration between Yayasan and PINTAR Foundation through this adoption programme reflects a strong commitment in supporting the educational development among the underserved students. Through the above two programmes, Yayasan not only addressed students’ essential needs but also supported their learning development. This is important for academic growth and confidence, providing a strong foundation for their future.
