YAYASAN TAN SRI SM NASIMUDDIN SPONSORS BRAILLE DICTIONARY PROJECT FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED CHILDREN

Yayasan Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin has sponsored the Malaysian Foundation for the Blind in its first-ever Pictorial Braille Dictionary in Malaysia, complete with English-to-Malay translation.

Braille reading materials are often difficult to obtain due to specialized production requirements and higher costs of production. This innovative initiative is set to benefit over 500 visually impaired children across the country.

By funding this project, we hope to offer access to a wider range of learning resources for children in nurturing imagination and creativity. The visually impaired children are assisted in their learning and can get alongside with their peers.

As we continue to create meaningful impact through our programmes, we believe that every small step taken towards inclusivity brings us closer to a brighter future for our community. Together, we can inspire change, minimize barriers, and open doors to opportunities for generations to come.
