Naza KIA Malaysia Announces Price For The All New Cerato Koup Turbo-GDI
KUALA LUMPUR DECEMBER 11, 2015 – NAZA KIA MALAYSIA, the official distributor of KIA vehicles in Malaysia, has announced the price of the highly-acclaimed All New Cerato Koup Turbo Gasoline Direct Injection (T- GDI) .
The All New Cerato Koup Turbo-GDI is set to make a bold statement in the growing sporty segment as a new benchmark in its class and is positioned for consumers who are seeking a performance-based vehicle.
“As the first gasoline Turbo model by Kia to hit the Malaysian market, the All New Cerato Koup Turbo-GDI is set to be an icon for the brand. It daringly demonstrates the excitement of driving by the pure power of its 1.6l Turbo-GDI engine. Now with a bolder and more sophisticated design, the All New Cerato Koup Turbo-GDI is sculpted to portray ‘dynamic muscularity’ and provoke an emotional response. The slim radiator grille design, HID headlamps and LED projection fog lamp emphasize its sporty image. The profile of the All New Cerato Koup Turbo-GDI is enhanced by frameless doors, black high-gloss door mirrors and door handles, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Its rear is characterised by modern details like an LED high mounted stop lamp, dual muffler tail trim, carbon fibre look bumper garnish and LED rear combination lamps.
The interior design of the All New Cerato Koup Turbo- GDI concentrates on sportiness with a driver-focused cockpit and generous use of soft-touch materials for added refinement. The supervision cluster benefits from a TFT colour LCD screen. Driver comfort is boosted by Electric Lumber Support and air ventilation.
The All New Cerato Koup Turbo-GDI features motor driven power steering (MDPS) with flex steer, 4.2-inch touchscreen audio with rear view camera, push start ignition, and an audio system with 6-speakers. Motor driven power steering (MDPS) with flex steer provides three operating modes to help fine-tune the driving experience: Comfort mode for city driving, Normal mode for regular steering conditions and Sport mode for highway or heavy steering.
Other premium features available include a sunroof, smart welcome light system and dual zone full-auto air conditioner with cluster ionizer and auto defog system.
At the heart of the All New Cerato Koup Turbo-GDI is a highly efficient 1.6L Turbo-GDI Engine which produces 204 PS and 265 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission for responsive yet silky smooth performance. The turbo engine allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 7.4 seconds. What the driver experiences is still the most critical element of any powertrain technology.
Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Brake Assist System (BAS), Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Seatbelt Reminder, ISOFIX as well as six airbags are all standard safety features. These safety systems work together to keep the driver and passengers well-protected while further assisting with safe driving and helping drivers adapt to emergency situations more quickly.
